Our Ministries
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages! Sunday School is a fun and inspirational way to grow in your faith and form new friendships. Join us Sunday mornings from 10:30 - 11:30 am.
G.R.A.C.E Place is our children's Sunday school, ages 3 years old - 5th grade. Not only do we have arts and crafts, games and snacks but we also study the Bible, worship God, memorize Bible verses and have fun learning about Jesus and how He wants us to live. We have classes for 6th - High School.
Every year our youth participate in Palm Sunday, Vacation Bible School, Christian Education Sunday, and the Christmas program.
Youth Group is a fun and engaging ministry for young people in our community. It is open to all youth, regardless if they attend our church regularly or not, grades 6-12.
We generally meet Sunday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at the Church, however we try to have one event monthly that may lead to a different time and/or location (these changes are always communicated by the youth group coordinators)
A typical evening consists of worship, a devotion, food and fun! For more info, please contact Adam or Michelle Carlson.

The Vision of Older Adult Ministries in our congregation is to enhance the lives of older adults, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, socially and physically and to recognize them as individuals of value and worth who have and contributions and dreams for their church regardless of age.
Our church is intentional about including those who are homebound so that they feel connected to us. We do this by visits, weekly deliveries of sermons and bulletins, monthly deliveries of the church newsletter, and offering communion to those who wish to receive it. The weekly service and events are also available online for the ones who use technology.
In addition to serving the homebound we sponsor other activities throughout the year. Some of those have included field trips, 80 + year old's recognition dinner, short term studies, game nights, and a technology training workshop.
“The organized unit of Women of Faith (UMW) shall be a Community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of MISSION through participation in the Global ministries of the church.”
According to the Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church, it is stated that “In every local church there shall be an organized unit of United Methodist Women”. Our local unit is directly related to the District, (Spoon River) and Conference (Illinois Great River). Membership is open to ANY and ALL Women, to any woman who indicates her desire to participate in over 100 Global Missions of the church. Two Missions that our IGR Conference supports are Cunningham Children’s Home in Urbana and the Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House in East St. Louis. For 150 years UMW has been living Faith, Hope and Love in Action.

Do you know someone who needs a prayer shawl? Perhaps you know of a friend or family member undergoing a physical or emotional challenge or someone who has experienced a personal loss or needs a tangible reminder that there are people who care, and that God continuously wraps each one of us in His endless love!
These Prayer Shawls are lovingly made by members of the congregation. Please take a Prayer Shawl to someone in need of prayer to remind them that they are loved.
Susie Clark
Currently Chris Moore, Ray Clark, and Joyce Clark offer this opportunity to anyone. Usually we work together in twos - allowing the Lord to work through us with the techniques we have been taught and scriptural words of healing. Some of the benefits of healing touch include: relief from pain, anxiety, and tension; better sleep, mood, and emotional balance; reduction in side effects from cancer, medical, and pharmaceutical treatments; improvement in chronic conditions; and healing faster from physical injury, surgery and medical procedures.
Healing bags are given to someone is going to be in the hospital. Please contact Joyce if you or someone you know is going to be in the hospital.
